Goodbye Diana

The rest of that day passed mercifully quickly. There was a hint of awkwardness between Tom and Sarah that each one blamed on themselves. The girls took it easy that morning and Tom found himself sat between the two of them watching anime. Diana snuggled up to him and linked his arm with hers and rested head on his shoulder. Sarah noticed this and possessively did the same. Tom could feel both bodies pressed against him and his wondering mind caused him to wince with discomfort and he shuffled in his seat trying to ease it. Both girls smiled to themselves knowing why he was reacting that way.

That afternoon was a write off work wise for Tom as the girls were is high spirits and were making the final additions to the costume. This in it's self was enough to be distracting as there was a lot of rushing around and giggling. What made it worse was both of them had no regard for his presence as they tried on costume elements and to make life easier spent a lot of their time in their underwear. Seeing as his office was now also her crafting area he gave up and decided to take a walk. That night the talk was all about the photo shoot the next day and future projects they could work on together. Tom had to admit that it was lovely to see Sarah so enthusiastic and engaged and if it hadn't been for all the sexual complications then he would have found the chaos strangely relaxing.

The next day he was, as usual banned from the studio less he stick is oar in so he managed to catch up on all the work he missed while Jay and the girls took pictures. He heard them talking and it sounded like Jay was done and heading out so he popped down to say goodbye. He couldn't help but notice that things looked tense between Sarah and Jay as there was some awkwardness between them when they said goodbye. After he'd gone Diana spoke up "Well, I'm going to grab my stuff and head off as well."

"Aww, do you have to go so soon? I thought we could have dinner together" said Sarah

"I'd love to, I've had a blast but I have a long drive and I have some family stuff to do tomorrow."

Tom could have sworn she gave him a look on when she said "had a blast" and he blushed,

"I'll help you pack" said Sarah and with that they headed downstairs.

Not long later it was time to say goodbye and they stood by Diana's beat up Renault Clio, her bags already loaded. Sarah and her had a long hug.

"Bye Di, I'm going to miss you. I can't wait until we show the costumes off live for the fist time." gushed Sarah

"Yea, I never did a collaboration before. I hope you'll have me over again some time soon."

"You're always welcome."

They broke apart and Diana turned to Tom and gave you a huge hug "Thanks for looking after me daddy" she grabbed Tom's head and kissed him in a repeat of the first night they met. This time Tom couldn't help but return the kiss a little even if he did look surprised.

"Diana! For fucks sake" exclaimed Sarah but she sounded more exasperated than cross.

Diana broke the kiss and gave Tom a wink before turning back to Sarah "Sorry babe. I've been so good, I just couldn't resist a little goodbye kiss. She gave Sarah a kiss on the cheek and got in her car. Tom and Sarah stood and waived until she was out of site and headed back into the house.

They closed the door and Tom said "There we go, did you enjoy yourself?"

"I did actually. I never thought we'd become such good friends. How about you?"

"Well that last bit was quite good. Ow." Sarah had punched him on his arm. "To be honest I'd quite like my wife back."

Sarah looked at him and she seemed to relax as if she'd been holding on to some tension. She moved in front of him and wrapped her arms around him and pulled him into a kiss. It was a soft and tender kiss. "I think I'd like that." she said softly and they kissed again with tender passion.

"Ow" said Tom

"Oh yes" giggled Sarah "We should probably do something about that" and she took his hand and led him upstairs.
