The Roster

A few of the Cunis near the door stepped into the room and immediately began vying for position. "Me next!" "No, me next!" "Me wait longer. Me next!" Soon it had turned into an all out catfight, or more accurately a bunny fight as several Cunis began swatting, kicking, and kneeing each other. A few even resorted to pulling each other's ears which apparently hurt quite a bit based on their facial contortions and sharp screeches.

"Stop!" you shouted and lunged toward the nearest pair to break up their fight. After ducking a few wayward blows, you managed to interpose yourself between them and outstretched your arms holding them a safe distance apart. "There is no need to fight. I will determine the order, but for now Sky's Shop is closed."

All of the previously combative Cunis looked quite dejected at hearing that, but it had the intended effect. The melee ended, and they exited the room. Belle and Holly stood up and turned to leave as well, but you signaled the door to close before they could. Turning to them along with Ginger and Tawny you announced, "The four of you can stay. I have something to discuss with you."

You turned to Holly who you'd only just met. "Before that, an introduction seems in order. We have not been formally introduced yet. I am Sky."

"What is seed delivery?" you inquired.

After a day or two to recover, she would repeat the process. You were interested in learning more about their tasks, but it was time to switch topics. "I want to discuss feeding arrangements," you began.

I'd like some help to determine which Cunis to consider inviting besides the four of you."

"Mari is good friend," replied Holly. "She help harvest Feeler."

"Alright, I'll invite Mari. What about the triplets - Daisy, Shasta and Jasmine?" you asked.

"Um...Jasmine is nice, but Shasta and Daisy are a bit bossy," replied Ginger.

"Yes, I've noticed," you acknowledged. "I'll keep that in mind. What about Eveline?"

"Eveline seems OK, but she mostly keeps to herself," explained Holly.

"Eveline is oldest Cuni on Starpoint," added Tawny.

"That shouldn't be a problem," you replied. "What about the sisters Onyx and Raven?"

"Onyx and Raven are friends," said Belle. "They impatient, but not bad Cunis. Not like Lily!"

"OK, I'll include Onyx and Raven. I wasn't planning to invite Lily." You wondered where she was since you hadn't seen her since the hallway ambush. At some point she'd have to come out of hiding, but for now, you planned to leave it in her court to make amends. "So let's see, if I include Tawny, Ginger, Belle, Holly, Mari, Daisy, Shasta, Jasmine, Eveline, Onyx and Raven, that is a total of eleven. Is there one more Cuni that I should consider?"

"Poppy!" announced Tawny. Ginger, Belle and Holly all agreed. "Oh yes. Poppy!"

"OK, Poppy it is. After determining how often you'd each like to get fed, I can setup a schedule."
