Problem with the filtration system

Climbing out behind them, I waited to see what coach would say.

"Okay, so good job with that warmup. Now, who wants to do Relay races?"

Music to a practicing swimmer's ear. Lot's of rest and competitive fun mixed into one. Awesome. Unfortunately, that was when I glanced over and saw a brownish sludge starting to form around one of the filtration drains.

"Hey coach, what is that?" I asked pointing at the growing issue.

"Um…" coach started before being interrupted by an incessant beeping. Jogging over to the chemical control panel, coach looked at the readout and frowned. "Well, practice is cancelled for the day. You guys might as well head home."

"Wait what. Why?" Isabella questioned.

"Well, if I have my guess right, the system got backed up somewhere from the sewage system or there is a major pipe break somewhere. Either way, the system says that it can't compensate for the issue with the chemicals. So until we can find the problem, you can't swim. So, practice is cancelled."

"Okay. Good reason." Noelle said. Heading back to our stuff, we picked it up and went for the locker rooms to get changed before we left.
