Female

The voice belongs to a female, you slowly open your eyes to see a tall figure in the shadows who back was turned. ”So much to do, the boredom was driving me insane bit at least allowed to come up with plans for my enemies,” she said to herself with a little chuckle.

Her voice was cold and her tone seemed to have calmed down, it seemed she didn't hadn’t even notice you. You were terrified, who or what did you just release?!

”This place is somehow worse in shape than I left it. I have to use some of my magic to fix it” she murmured.

You slowly and quietly put down the book, you held your breath as heart beating wildly, you were terrified of getting caught.

Luckily for you, she seems too distracted by talking to herself to pay any attention to her surroundings.

You slowly walked away, you need to get out here and warn everyone. Once you were out this room, you needed to run like hell.

You kept eyes on her back if she turned around you would be ready to run or fight if needed.

The figure laughed ”Going somewhere?”.

Your eyes widen but you decided to the dash to the door! You trip a little over your dress but you didn't care!

”Ah ruining from the Mistress of the castle? Tsk I expect better manner from my guest”. You heard a click from her fingers.

Rope warped around your writs at your back as well, your ankles! You fell completely on your stomach, you grunted as you struggle.

You turned to head to see, she hadn't even changed her position, still in shadow and back turned.

”Let me go!” you yelled though it came out more fearful than you expect.

She laughed ”Let you go? I can’t let my saver go but since you being difficult” she clicks her fingers again.

Your arms and legs were lifted by some invisible force and new rope tied them together!

You were completely immobile despite your struggles! You were completely trapped, you heart it was going coming out your chest or your throat from fear.

”Huh that odd I nearly out of magic, they must have really stripped me of most of my power” she said.

You remained silent as you quietly try to lose the ropes ”I once gain more power before I could do it again. I just need to find my allies”.

”Now let see who release me” she said as she turned around and stepped out the shadows.

Your eyes widen as you finally saw your captor.
