Can’t start the day on an empty stomach.

Having learnt from Aor that I can’t make Thai pancakes, I stick to what I know best which is simple scrambled eggs on toast with plenty of crumbled feta and chopped spring onions. The smell of hot food bringing Lawan to my dining table in a pilfered sports jumper of mine that extends way down her legs. I offer her coffee while she waits that she refuses and instead asks for some cold water to replace some of the fluids she’s lost.

As I pull up out the front of her parent’s house Lawan gives me a warm hug before thanking me.

With that Lawan looks at the door to her house before turning back to me and giving me one last cheeky kiss on the lips and then hopping up out of my car and jogging up to the house.

After dropping Lawan off I head back to my apartment to relax before I have to work that evening. Before I get a chance to truly unwind though I walk past the door to my spare room which I have converted into a home office and my mind goes back to all the work I have to do still for this coming week. Relaxation will have to wait for now. I give the house a quick once over from breakfast and throw my sheets in the wash before dividing my time between The Loft takeover meeting tomorrow, Piya’s employment dinner the day afterwards and some general admin duties for AORsome Spirits. I received an email from the distiller that my shipment would be arriving at the port in three weeks’ time. I get as much as I possibly can in the time I have before deciding I’ve done all that can be done for now. I have a quick half an hour to throw some running shoes on and make a quick jog around the park before getting ready for work.

As I’m heading out the door my phone rings with a call from Piya.

“We did some of that,” I say with a slight chuckle.

“Well, she couldn’t stop raving about it when she called me so thank you.”

“It was something else, that’s for sure,” I say, not sure how to tell my girlfriend what it was like having sex with her younger sister.

“I’d better give you something out of this world next time so you don’t forget that big sis does it better!”

“You are already out of this world Pi,” I tell her before saying our goodbyes as I head off to work.

At work, I get changed into my uniform and try and get a rundown on what’s happening tonight.
