Get a ride from my boyfriend

I’ve been going out with Alex Gippers for about six months. We met shortly after he transferred to my school at the beginning of our senior year. When he asked me out, I braced myself for the inevitable stuff that I put up with from other guys, but I was pleasantly surprised when he didn’t mention anything about the family business. In fact, it wasn’t until after our third or fourth date that the subject even came up.

Alex is a good guy, and I consider him my boyfriend, but only time will tell just how serious things get, particularly now that we’re done with high school and have to focus on the future. For now, I’m enjoying the relationship and don’t want to ruin a good thing by overly analyzing it.

Alex offered to give me a ride to work for my first day on the job, and I have decided to take him up on his offer.
