Blair goes to find out!

After spending another hour enjoying the company of her friends, Blair asks Nora to see Emiko. After all, what kind of mistress would she be if she didn't worry at least a little about her pets, right? A few minutes later, Blair found herself in the room opposite of the library, behind a one way viewing room, it reminded her a lot of those questioning rooms she'd seen on t.v. in police stations. The clarity through this glass was pretty impressive, and currently they couldn't hear anything from the other room. Blair could see Emiko was sitting in a chair opposite of Sandro in the other room, Sandro was clearly speaking to Emiko, but whatever was being said had caused her to pout slightly. Blair looked to Nora and asked. "Is there anyway to hear what is going on in there?" Nora smiled, saying. "Of course." As she spoke, she walked towards the left side of the glass, pressing a small button on the panel of a small intercom. Once the button was pressed, a red light turned on, slightly above it. Sandro's voice instantly kicked in. "We know you are in league with Master Tong. Just tell me what we want to know and I will let you go. You said you wanted to get back to Blair, right?." He was almost shouting and clearly annoyed. Emiko sniffed once before speaking. "I was just a hired mercenary, I don't work directly for him, honest." She looked towards the glass then down slightly. Blair could feel a bit of anger towards Sandro growing inside her as Emiko continued to speak. "You can use scrying magic on me if you don't believe me. I have nothing to hide." Nora pressed the button again, turning off the intercom while looking to Blair with a little smile and said. "How about I get you in there to see her? It sounds like Sandro is at his wit's end anyway." Blair nodded slightly, she could feel her face relaxing. She must have looked rather upset from hearing Sandro's words. "Was it that obvious that I wanted to see her?" Nora chuckled, saying. "Yes, quite clearly. You are a very caring woman, Blair. It is one of the things I love about you."

As Blair blushed from Nora's compliment, Nora went to open a door on the left side of the room. This door led to the short hallway to the interrogation room. Blair followed Nora through that short hallway, Nora knocked on the door before opening it. Sandro looked to Nora. "Finally, some backup." She shook her head before moving to the side, letting Blair into the room. "Hey, Emiko. How are you holding up?" Upon hearing Blair's voice, Emiko got up and quickly rushed into Blair's arms, purring loudly as she said. "I missed you! ♥" Blair held Emiko gently close as she spoke. "I missed you too, kitten. Did you tell them everything you could?" Emiko nodded, but shortly after her ears leaned back as she spoke. "I did, but he didn't believe me, mistress." Blair's eyes looked over to Sandro. "I see, well. I am sure I can help clear this up." She said before kissing Emiko's forehead. Emiko's score ticked up to 185.

After a short explanation about Emiko's character, Sandro began to grumble. "Don't tell me you believe her." He said, clearly not convinced. Blair nodded slightly while saying. "If I felt she was lying, she wouldn't be getting any pleasure from me for a while." Emiko gulped hearing that, clearly not liking that idea while nuzzling closer to Blair. Nora chuckled while watching Emiko and said. "Well, it is nice to know I am not the only one addicted to Blair's touch." Blair shook her head while running her fingers through Emiko's hair. "Where did he make contact with you? Perhaps we can send someone there to investigate." Emiko's ears perked up when she heard that question and said. "Hmm, I was contacted at the abyss super mall in New York City by a cloaked figure, but he did not give a name. I would not suggest going there, mistress. There are many bounty hunters and mercenaries there." She looked up a bit pitifully before continuing. "I have no doubt that you are capable, mistress, but even powerful people can be beaten if enough strong enemies are sent after them." She nuzzled more to Blair. "My mistress, don't leave me." Blair sighed softly before hugging Emiko and said. "I won't make any promises, but I will be as safe as I can." Emiko pouted, but nodded slightly.

After listening to that, Sandro looked to Blair and Nora. "Hmm, well, at least with this bit of information I can get a scout sent to New York City to investigate. Nora, I will be taking my leave. Do what you wish with Emiko." He said before walking out of that room. Nora looked to Emiko, chuckling before looking to Blair and said. "Well, as cute as this is, we should go clean up. Now, out of here, this isn't a place to idly stand and chat." Nora shooed them both out of this room. It didn't take much convincing to get them all, herself included, to take a shower.

After their shower, they all decided it was wise to head to bed. It had been a pretty rough night and they were all quite tired. Blair sighed, hearing the complaints about who would sleep where with her. She was a little surprised by how civil they were being, well, at least for now. It didn't take much convincing to have Nora held by her left arm, Ellinor by her right, and Emiko was nuzzled against Blair's stomach. Her mind felt a little worn from all the stress of this evening, but tomorrow should be easier. It would be, right?
