With that, Anna exited her bedroom.
"Sorry about taking so long!" she shouted, each word filled with a sense of regality and femininity. Judging by the chuckling she heard downstairs, that was accepted.
"It's alright, Anna." her wife continued and Anna took her in. Dressed in a bright red ballroom gown, her age was on full display. But the gray hairs were more than enough to do that already. "Of course, can I have a kiss?"
Anna nodded and picked up her pace down the stairs.
"She's beautiful."
