He kisses me.

I watch Robert sit right beside me to my right. I focus on his face for no apparent reason. He stares at me and me him, but we don't say a word. He goes first, takes his left hand and grasps my chin gently, pulls my head towards his. For some reason I close my eyes. The impact was soft but it felt so tantalizingly romantic.

It seems like thirty seconds to a minute we have our lips locked, the only sound we hear is our calm but steady breathing. We gently pull ourselves off each other and open our eyes.

"That was amazing, Marianne."

"Yeah, I can't believe I'm kissing my best friend."

"I can't believe I kissed my best friend who now a beautiful, hot, sexy girl, girl of my dreams, just to add."

"Aww, that is so sweet," after that statement, the dilemma of Allen Macintosh being Marianne is forgotten. Robert, when he sees me, does not see Allen anymore, but his new girlfriend. I now see myself as a really cool and sexy girl who knows Robert like I've been him together all these years.
