Pre-show interviews

The first show recording was at 3 pm, and it was the less important one, since they do always two recordings: this lets them edit the eventual problems out of the final version, and to do a sort of another super-realistic rehearsal before the big evening gala event with all the celebs.

The time passed, with the models getting visibly more excited and nervous, the younger ones at their first show specially, but it was safe to say everyone was feeling the butterflies in their stomach, damn, even you were feeling for them a little, because of the atmosphere of the place.

The real craziness started just a few hours before the deadline for the girls to go get changed in their outfits, because they finally let the press in.

Hundreds of people with cameras, microphones, and any other video and audio recording device you can think of, were forming disorganised queues to interview the girls.

The reality? A true mess, cramping the backstage area, noise everywhere for all this people talking, and the models where mostly ready now, needing just the final touch ups before the show, so they were moving around too.

Yep, a true hell for a sociopath/paranoid and now even security guy... You can easily guess that Adriana's queue was probably the biggest and most chaotic, since everyone wanted to interview and get her in video since she is the most important and representative VS model.

While this was annoying you a lot since you didn't like how many of them were basically all over her with microphones and cameras pointed, she didn't seem to mind, or at least she was good at masking it, and gladly replied to all the questions.

Some of the journalists there were the usual ones that go every year backstage so she knew them (like the polite ET black guy, that I discovered was also funny from the way he did his short interview), but many were new European ones, French in particular obviously.

It all went smoothly, besides a pair of guys you had to ask to keep a bit of distance to not annoy the glam people, and a hand-full of questions about her private life she didn't want to talk about and gracefully but at the same time firmly declined.
