Old, butch and loving it

Ash opened his eyes, gazing into the mirror.

Instead seeing the youthful face of a trainer, the old face of a woman stared back through the vanity. Wrinkles had spread across her face, while celluite gave her an aged look. Still partially bald, her hair had taken on a bit of gray. Enough to be seen as a senior citizen at least.

But, the feeling within had changed. Instead of frustration, it was now... love. In a way, this felt right. Gazing to the right, she came upon some picture frames. Picking one up, she did a double take. The photo was that of her and Delia of all people together. Closer inspection revealed differences though. On top of both of them having wearing wedding bands,

"That's right." she thought and looked down towards her hand. Even after their families made a big fuss, after the fight that made her swear off men, they had tied the knot. Turning the frame around, she found something inscribed.

A smile formed on the elderly lesbian's face. She did need to pick up the pace. Wouldn't want to keep her wife waiting.
