She guided you through the backstage area, between the long makeup tables with mirrors and chairs, all ready for the following show day.

And doing so she was nicely chatting about how excited she was for the big event, how much she loves Paris, of her last vacation in Maldives, even of her dog!

This woman was weird, in a good way but weird anyway: being so talkative, with a stranger she just met and knew anything about. You guess that's what extrovert people look like: You'll never understand them... She didn't seem that way from what you saw of her from VS videos and interviews, maybe she is a bit camera shy.

Martha stopped before a pink curtain separating a small room. "This is the tanning boot: here tomorrow we will use spray tan to make our skin look a bit more colored, just like we got to tan even if we are in November. The courtain will keep us away from journalists and cameras. Right now, it's the perfect place for us: far from the runway, enough for not being heard, and nobody will come here now that they are rehearsing."

The model opened the curtain, and inside the room was mostly empty, besides other curtains hanging all around the walls, and a linoleum like pavement cover, all probably to avoid the tanning spray to stain the room.

The only pieces of furnitures were a small metallic white table, a similar clothes hanger and two chairs.

Very likely the models went there in couples with a pair of makeup artist to help because there wasn't room for many more people.

Martha says "So, would you like to help me with these?" She sat on a chair and moved up one of her legs, alluding to her boots.

You moved down and took them off, along with the very short grey socks underneath.
