The morning after

You wake up next to a still sleeping Adela. As much as you'd like to stay in bed with her, you begrudgingly decide to leave her. After showering and dressing, you shake your Queen, awakening her from her slumber.

"Hey." She sighs.

"Morning."

She sits up, allowing the two of you to share a kiss. Adela then asks "You gotta go?"

"Actually, I thought I'd wake you up for breakfast."

"Oh. Thanks."

"No problem."

You let Adela stand up before saying "So you all good after last night?"

"Yeah." Adela smiles at you. "It couldn't have been better Oscar."

"Just wanted to make sure."

"That's why you're the best."

You share one more kiss with Adela, before letting her get on with her morning routine. Heading to the kitchen, you serve up what little cereal you had left. It served as a reminder that you need to go shopping after work. You sit down when Adela arrives, sitting with you.

"Hey about tonight." You say.

"Yeah?"

"I kinda need to go shopping for groceries."

"Was gonna say. You're totally out of shampoo."

"Right. I'll add that to the list."

"Well, how about you come over to mine when you're ready?"

"Sounds like a plan."

"Perfect."

Once you've eaten, you give Adela one last kiss and head off to work. When you near your office, you find Monica waiting for you.

"Hey Oscar." She says.

"What's up?" You ask.

"The boss wants to speak with you when possible."

"Right now good?"

"Should be."

Heading to your father's office, you wonder what he wants with you.
