Week Of Nudity

“Either you spend a week at home completely naked...” Aunt Clara began.

Anna immediately began to choose another option. “Pass. Whatever the other option is.” She said, shaking her head.

“...or spend a week on the beach completely naked.” Aunt Clara continued. She waited patiently for Anna’s response.

“Hold on a minute, I can’t spend a week on the beach naked! That’s impossible!” She yelled, shocked that these were the only two options she’d been given.

“I’ve got a beach house timeshare. Austin has a baseball tournament that weekend, so I can’t go. I’ll loan it to you, since I can’t use it anyway” Uncle Dave assured.

Anna looked around the backyard, searching for someone to come to her defense. “Please mom, there’s got to be another way.” She begged her mom.

Anna’s mother shook her head stoically. “We know that it will take more than just a day to get you back out of your shell, this is the only way. You can choose to spend it here, or at the beach. Your choice.”

“...What happens if I don’t choose?” Anna asked, hoping they hadn’t thought about what would happen if she didn’t answer.

“Then you can stay dressed exactly as you are until you decide.” Her mom responded indifferently.

Anna blushed again, cursing herself for getting in the mess she was in.
