The battle of the Malevolence

When the fighter squadron came out of the nebula, it had taken no damage. And thus was fully prepared to take on the behemoth of a vessel. Angel could see that the ship had already begun to attack the defenceless transports, the move of a coward.

"Double head we've got fighters incoming" shouted Ahsoka on the comms, Angel looked ahead and saw that there were indeed a squadron of Vulture Droids closing in.

"All right girls take evasive action” called Skywalker as the forces spread out to deal with the droids. Given every Supremacy fighter had a torpedo load out, they lacked anti-fighter missiles and so were destined to do this the hard way.

Weaving and dodging through the fighter storm, and trying to evade the laser fighter wasn’t hard with her aptitude for the ****. The Aran clones too, held their own, they’re training holding them together, and scoring several hits against the droids.

“Shadow Squardron, the ion canon is firing” shouted of the Aran clones. Turning Angel could see that was indeed happening.

“All fighters pull up” shouted Skywalker as Shadow Squadron began to ascend higher in order to escape it’s blast. Inching closer and closer to safety even as **** drew ever closer to them.

By a hair’s inch Angel was the last fighter over the blast, three Aran clones meanwhile were caught in the blast. Fortunately they did have breathing apparatus so hopefully they could be recovered after the battle.

“How many did we lose?” asked Skywalker.

“Only three, we’re still good for combat” she replied, “now we take out the ion cannons”

“Aren’t we going for the bridge” asked Skywalker.

“No we have to take out the ion cannons, shadow squadron on me” she ordered as the bomber squadron followed her lead. Swarming on the cannon, just as it began to fire the bombers unleashed their series torpedoes into the cannon. Causing it to overload and explode, leaving the Malevolence exposed.
