Exhausted

The next morning, Mark woke up feeling groggy as the warm sun hit his face. He reached over to feel Sara's warm body but noticed that she wasn't in the bed. Getting up Mark stumbled into the bathroom to get some Advil for his pounding head ache. After splashing some water in his face he noticed, in the mirror, the tripod set up by the foot of the bed and couldn't help but smile as the memories of their sexual adventure came flooding back to him.

Afterwards, Mark made his way to the kitchen to get his morning started with his much needed coffee. Sara had always bugged him to get a French Press coffee maker but instead preferred his Keurig K-cups. After turning on the machine he noticed a note left for him by Sara.

"Good morning baby, hope you enjoyed your gift last night! I am sure you will do great in your interview! Mine was moved up to earlier today but I will see you afterwards! Love you, Sara."

After reading the note, Mark heard the beep of his coffee pot and poured himself a large cup of coffee when he noticed the clock on his microwave reading 9:12. "Oh my god!" Mark thought to himself realizing he was late for work and that his interview would be starting in less than an hour. Rushing he quickly ran to the bedroom to realize why the alarm on his phone never went off this morning.

He ran to his bedside table to notice that his phone was missing. He looked under the bed, under the covers....no where. Suddenly, it dawned on him. His phone was still in the tripod! Picking it up, he noticed that his phone was completely dead. He never turned the camera off last night and the battery had drained. Quickly, he threw on his suit and rushed out the door.
