Try and Reason With Them

“I am sorry, I got lost.” Sonya said hoping she could talk them down as the guy with the gun came closer.

“I will say, now the question is what to do with you?” The brutish one replied as he patted the crowbar and pushed his way past the one with the gun and grinned looking Sonya over like a piece of meat. Sonya smiled and reached out touching his face.

“You don't want to cause any more trouble then necessary do you, surly we can work out something so no one gets hurt. I have some money. Not a lot but enough for some hot food and someplace warm to sleep at the next stop.”

“That sounds nice.” he smiled.

“You idiot snap out of it. She is a witch. One of those enchantresses.” The woman grabbed him pulling him away from Sonya and he quickly snapped out of her charm. Sadly Sonya hadn't inherited her mother or sisters skill as an enchantress and simple suggestion was the extinct of Sonya's ability to manipulate the minds of others.

“I say we kill her and dump her.” The woman said.

“Good Idea.” The one with the gun said and raised it. Sonya threw up her hands out and the gun jerked upward as the shot went into the roof. Sonya slung her hands aside splitting the pistol into as the cylinder flew one way while the rest went another. Sonya kicked him in the chest sending him backwards. The guy with the crowbar came at Sonya and she threw up her arm as he went to swing but couldn't as the crowbar froze in place behind him. She threw a spinning kick to his stomach sending him flying and drew the crowbar to her catching it in hand.

Sonya ducked a swing from the leader and used the crowbar to hook his foot sending him falling as she yanked it hard. The girl came at Sonya with the knife which Sonya easily flicked it out of her pour grip and struck the girl with an open palm to the nose staggering her backwards.

The one she had taken the crowbar from came back at her as he swung and Sonya ducked under catching his wrist with the crowbar, spinning him around before nailing him in the stomach causing him to hunch over. The other man caught her by surprise as he grabbed her by the hair and threw several punches to her back before nailing her in the face as she went to turn.

Sonya went down to the ground as he grabbed her hair and yanked her up to her knees. She quickly held out her hand and drew the knife from the floor to her and drove it into the leg of the guy behind her and twisted making him let go as he fell in pain.

Sonya got up as the other guy came at her though she ducked and nailed him in the stomach with the crow bar causing him to double over then brought the crowbar down across his back sending him down. Sonya was angry now as she walked over to the one that had hit her in the face. She raised the crowbar up but before she could do anything she felt a searing pain run through her body as she fell to the ground screaming. It stooped for a second and Sonya tried to get up but went right back down as she heard the crackle of electricity.

“Hurts doesn't it.” A voice said in a very calm manner. “I found this here cattle prod in the horse car.” The voice mused as she heard foot steps walking around as he kicked the crowbar away. She heard the crackle of electricity near her face. “They use it on animals when they misbehave. Animals like you.” He said and shocked her again as Sonya screamed. The electricity from the cattle prod made it hard to feel anything around her that she could use as a weapon.

“Who are you?” One of the guys asked.

“A friend with a dislike for witches.” The man said gruffly. “Why don't we open the door and lets see if this witch can fly.” The man said as another jolt of electricity ran through her body.

“Now your talking.” Sonya heard foot steps as one of the guys ran to the door and opened it. “Come on Witch. It's time to fly or die.” The female said. Two of them grabbed her arms and carried her toward the door. Sonya tried to resist which just got her another jolt from the prod.
