Introduction 2

Her room isn't quite what you expect from a girl her age; It goes mostly in white and blue tones, and only a few posters and photographs, most of them of various cats. A soft bed, slightly too big for just one person to sleep in, a couch, a wardrobe, a bookshelf, a desk and a small chair... That's about all.

"Tidy." you say, stepping inside.
"Thanks." She smiles, coming in after you. "Want something to drink?"
"Sure." you answer. "Water is fine for me."
"Sure. I'll be right back with the glasses. Think I'll need to pass the bathroom first, so just settle down while I'm gone!" and with that you're left alone in her room.

Walking around, checking the posters and furniture, you reach the bookshelf. Reckognising a few titles, you reach for one book that you enjoyed reading as a kid.
As you open it you find a small, very thin key tied to the cord that serve as a bookmark. Puzzled you look around the room for something to unlock. Shrugging and turning back to the bookshelf to put the book back, you notice that the next book, one with no text on the back and only a picture of a sitting cat on the front cover, actually has a small lock attached to it!

Intrigued you take both books and manage to unlock the untitled one with the thin key.

Turning to the first page you find the text Sarah's Secret Diary written with bold, ornate letters.
Feeling your heart race, you quickly start looking through the book, hoping that the author won't be back for another few moments!
