Chapter 10 by Vakari Vakari

How should you play it?

Try being aggressively flirty. He’s here for a good time right?

He came here to get laid right? He’s going to be looking for the sexiest girl. When Yoshida looks your way, you give him Yozora’s most boldest and most inviting look. Noboru Inoue sits on the other side of Chiaki while Kazuo Kamiya and Masahiro Hiyama sit on either side of Maria. The briefing had said that the last two were blood brothers. The two bodyguards stand to either side of the door they entered through. Yoshida looks at you and smiles. “What is your name, young miss?”

You give him a wicked grin. “Yozora Tainaka, Yoshi-sama.” You hope he reacts well to the nickname.

“Yozora-chan, is it?” he says neutrally. His gaze switches two Chiaki. “And you?”

“Ch-Chiaki,” she squeaks. “Yo-yoshida-sama.”

“Chiaki-chan.” He lays a hand on hers. “You have no reason to be nervous around me.” He doesn’t turn back to you and you curse internally. That fat fuck.

After Maria introduces herself, Chigusa claps her hands, summoning that waiting robots. They bring out sake and some light finger foods. You immediately fill Fat Yoshi’s cup and he quaffs it in one go. You fill it again and fill your own cup, though you have no intention of drinking. Luckily, your desires coincide with Chigusa’s in this case. Yozora had gotten screamingly wasted on more than one occasion and she was a mean drunk. Therefore, she was forbidden to drink more than a few sips. On the other hand, you make sure to keep Fat Yoshi’s glass full and keep him drinking. You talk with him, trying to get him interested in you. It’s not working. He seems focused on Chiaki even though his presence seems to have reduced her to monosyllables. It must be something about him. Even though Chiaki isn’t as engaging as Maria or Yozora, she usually wasn’t this bad.

The talk turns to the politics of United States, always a hot topic in Japan and likely every other allied nation. Volatility in the United States spelled volatility everywhere. Yoshida starts talking about the upcoming election. Chiaki has nothing interesting to say so you want to jump in. But how much would Yozora know? Like most teenagers, she wasn’t that interested in politics but she did pay attention to the news so she could converse in situations like this. You rack your brains for a moment and then say, “I hope George Tran wins. I think he is the best for the UA as a whole.”

Yoshida grunts, immediately dismissing your opinion. “Tran won’t win. He is too divisive. But Trippel is weak. American politics only work with two parties. The smaller parties might make noise this time, which means an unpredictable outcome. Probably a bad one.”

“Is that so?” You try to sound bored. To tell the truth, you were worried about the same thing. Yoshida was no fool. You encourage him drink down another cup of sake and, to your relief, Chigusa steers the conversation to something less controversial. Yoshida and his pals continue to drink and eat while the three of you wait on them and Satsuki plays her shamisen. Eventually their appetites for food and sake dwindle and Yoshida gets to his feet. He stumbles a bit but manages to grasp Chiaki by the arm and haul her up.

“Come along, Chiaki-chan.” He stumbles off with her, leaving you furious. Noboru takes Maria with him, leaving you and Chigusa with Kazuo and Masahiro. You wonder which one is going to take you back. It hardly matters, since you’ll just have incapacitate them quickly and look for a way to do the same to Fat Yoshi. To your surprise, they come to you together and take either one of your arms. Wait, what? I knew they were blood brothers but this is ridiculous! You look desperately to Chigusa for help but she doesn’t even have the guts to meet your eyes.

The two of them take you to one of the rooms set aside for this sort of thing. You rack your brains for some way to escape. A real geisha could have protested but you are just a fancy prostitute. Which leaves you pretty much stuck.

Two guys?
