Get ready

The three other girls of the Hoseki House come in just as you finish cleaning up. None of the mention what the likely saw as they came in. Chigusa had done similar things with all of them, though Yozora was by far her most frequent and favorite target. You say your hellos to the girls and then you split into pairs to get yourselves ready for the night. Chiaki and Maria pair together, leaving you with Satsuki. The former two girls had come to the House together, about a year before Yozora started. You weren’t totally sure if they were a couple or best friends with benefits but they were very, very close. Satsuki was the anomaly of the four of you. For one, she was already in her late twenties, which was only alright since she didn’t actually do the same job. She played the shamisen, a rarity these days, even in Tokyo. Chigusa prized the veneer of authenticity so Satsuki was damn near indispensable to her.

The four of you shed your clothes, far past any need to be embarrassed around one another. It was kind of depressing take off the clothes and makeup you’d spent so long on but Yozora never went anywhere without looking her best. Satsuki helps you put on some more demure and understated makeup. You return the favor, feeling nervous the whole time. Satsuki seems fine with what you do, however, to your vast relief. You do each others hair up with kanzashi. It's a poor simulacrum of traditional geisha hairstyles but the real styles took way too much upkeep. Then you dress each other in kimono. Yours is a pale yellow decorated with orange branches and leaves, along with a red under-kimono, a green obi and plain white tabi socks. You honestly thought it was quite pretty, though a real pain to move in.

The four of you finish around the same time and leave the dressing room together. The entertaining room has been set up with one long table in the middle, since your guests had reserved the entire night for just four people. Chigusa is at the head of the table, looking as calm as collected as she normally did. Her hair is back in order, as is her makeup. You seat yourself on a pillow at the foot of the table while Chiaki and Maria sit on either side. Satsuki, meanwhile, seats herself in the back corner and starts strumming and tuning her shamisen. No sooner are you all seated then Chigusa jumps to her feet. She has a proximity alarm set to alert her when anyone is drawing near the Hoseki House. She hurries away and returns a short while later leading the guests of the night.
