Out of the basement and into..?
A soft embrace
Neither of them were paying attention as they left the basement, allowing Blair to be unable to avoid the person heading their way. Blair bumped into whoever it was, her progress had been impeded by a soft and warm form. "I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention." Blair said out of reflex. Nora lifted a brow noticing who it was before Blair had a chance to look. "Ellinor, just what are you doing?" Ellinor pouted as she wrapped her arms around Blair. "Is it so wrong for me to want to hug my savior? You don't mind, do you, Blair?" Blair looked up slightly to Ellinor's face, a warm smile met her gaze. Blair couldn't help feeling drawn to them, wanting to lean in and kiss those lips, but shook her head gently of those thoughts, taking a moment before saying. "I don't mind, but this was unexpected." Blair gently slipped her arms around Ellinor's waist, hugging her gently before asking. "Did you get a chance to thank, Zane?" Nora cocked a brow, adding. "He was worried about you after all." Ellinor nodded, but didn't let go of Blair. "I did, but he was surprised to hear I wanted to stay with Blair." Nora and Blair were both surprised, but Nora spoke first. "What? Don't you have your own place?" Ellinor replied before Blair could add to this conversation. "I do, but I want to repay my savior somehow. I feel it would be easier if I remain close to her." Ellinor smirked as Nora replied. "That may be true, but don't you think hovering over her would be a burden?" Ellinor chuckled before saying. "Oh? Worried I will take her away from you?" Nora blushed before looking off to the side, her voice raising as she spoke. "Don't be absurd." Blair moved slightly, Ellinor's hold loosening just a bit. "I am not going anywhere, I swear. Please don't fight over me." Nora started to pout. "I'm not fighting." Ellinor chuckled a bit. "Well, you might not, but I would. Blair is quite the charmer after all." Nora glared at Ellinor and the tension in the air was growing quite thick, Blair spoke up. "Come now, ladies. Can't we be civil?" They both sighed before nodding. Blair smiled, slipping from Ellinor's embrace. She took Nora's and Ellinor's hand, bringing them together to gently shake. Nora was still glaring while Ellinor smirked ever so slightly, but they did shake hands. "Good. Now, I have my weapons to pick up, but we can get back to this after." Nora and Ellinor kept watching one another, Nora speaking first. "You go on ahead. We'll be right behind you." Ellinor looked to Blair. "Weapons? Anything I can help with?" Blair could feel the tension snap when Ellinor started to ignore Nora, making Nora visibly more upset. "Yes, I am receiving a pair of fist weapons as compensation for my work earlier. I do not know if Zane has told you, but I am currently under contract to work for his guild. Though I appreciate the offer, I am not sure what you can do to possibly help." Ellinor tilted her head. "I would need to see them, but I could possibly add chemicals to reinforce them or other properties. Oh, the sweet possibilities." Blair could see a glint behind Ellinor's eyes as her mind raced. Blair could tell Ellinor really loved her work. Nora huffed, clearly still upset.
All of this was interrupted when Izohra came around the corner. He smiled seeing them, but a slightly more serious look came across his face as he bowed slightly before them, saying. "My apologies for interrupting, ladies. Vralius wanted me to tell Blair that, 'They are ready.'. Whatever that means. He is waiting for you in the library." Izohra bowed to them again. "If you would excuse me." He said before walking off. Nora and Ellinor looked to Blair, Ellinor smiled before speaking. "Oh, the library. I haven't seen that area in quite some time. May I accompany you?" Nora was pouting while glaring at Ellinor as Blair replied. "I would like that. Would you both please accompany me?" She stepped in between them, slipping an arm around each of their waists before saying. "I never knew this was a dream of mine, but having a beautiful woman on each arm is quite delightful." Her finger tips gently gripping their hips. "Let's go." They both seemed to relax, watching her as they walked together towards the library.
A couple minutes later, they walked into the library, both Nora and Ellinor looked quite pleased. Blair slowly moved her hands from their waists once they reached the table, walking over to Vralius. He was blinking, likely in shock from what he just saw, but he shook his head before starting to speak. "I hope these are to your liking, Blair." She looked down, seeing the modified Nature's Embrace of Truesilver, they had a dulled fiery red coating over the once very shiny truesilver. She smiled picking one of them up, noticing it really did closely resemble her hair's color as she had previously requested, but what really surprised her was the weight of the one gauntlet. Hmm, if she had to guess, this was close to fifteen pounds, if not exactly. Ellinor walked over to Blair's side while she was distracted, moving a hand over the gauntlet in Blair's hand, saying. "Wow, these are rather nice. They are well made and have a lot of potential too. Wait, are these truesilver? If so, I can make some interesting improvements to these. With your permission, of course." Blair nodded slightly. "They are truesilver, Ellinor. I am not sure what you have in mind, but please, do what you think is best." Ellinor nodded before taking the gauntlets, saying. "I should have these ready in a few hours." Ellinor sighed softly before continuing. "Some of these changes will take time to set. I wouldn't want to damage your new gauntlets nor blow up the lab." Blair's eyes widened at that thought before nodding. "Yes, please, do not destroy anything and keep yourself safe. I wouldn't you to be hurt, Ellinor." Ellinor blushed slightly. "I will be careful." She bowed slightly to Blair before looking to Vralius. "It is nice to see you are well, Vralius. If you want to catch up, I will be in alchemy lab one." Vralius nodded before scratching the top of his head as Ellinor left the room with Blair's gauntlets. Vralius turned to Blair, saying. "Well, I have nothing more to add, so I will be going. I hope you enjoy your new gauntlets, Blair." She nodded slightly as he moved to leave the room before looking to Nora. "Well, I am looking forward to the improvements Ellinor will make to my gauntlets." Nora nodded while walking over to Blair's side. "I am sure they will be great." Nora nuzzled gently to Blair with a soft smile.
A few more minutes went by as Blair held Nora close, their eyes were closed. Nora kissed the top of Blair's head, Blair broke the silence first. "I think, we should refrain from abyss auction shopping while having fun." Nora started to laugh uncontrollably, her body shook slightly from the laughter, she took a moment before nodding with a smile. "Mm, deal." She said with a chuckle. Blair leaned up, kissing Nora's lips gently. "Mm, I am lucky to have such a wonderful girlfriend." She whispered against Nora's lips. Nora was blushing brightly, but as Blair was moving to kiss Nora's lips again, stopping just millimeters away. A knocking sound resonating from the doorway had caught their attention. Sandro was leaning against the archway, saying. " Sorry to interrupt, ladies, but your father has requested your presence, Nora. It sounded urgent." Nora sighed softly with a little pout before saying. "Just when we were getting to the good part." Blair kissed Nora's cheek. "Duty calls, want me to come with you?" Blair asked, but Nora shook her head. "No, if it is urgent then it is likely something just for me. I will text you if anything comes up." Blair nodded slightly, but came to the realization, she had left her phone in her purse back in Nora's room. "Okay, I will get my phone and try to relax then." Nora nodded before walking out of the room. Blair tried to follow, but was stopped by Sandro. "Could I have a moment of your time? I just wanted to know how you are holding up since the battle. Thanks again for helping me back there." She blinked, hearing that. "Ah, it was nothing. I was just glad to help. Not that the rewards haven't been nice." Sandro chuckled, his score ticked up to 40. "Yes, Zane can be generous at times, especially when his daughter is involved. You just be sure to take care of yourself, okay?" He said moving to walk off with a gentle wave. She watched a moment, if he hadn't been the one to start this conversation she wouldn't have recognized him. He had changed to a short sleeved white button up t-shirt and blue slacks, taking a second before saying. "You too." Her eyes began to wander down to his firm ass, the minor flexing of his blue slacks drawing her attention. She shook her head before heading to Nora's room. She was starting to wonder if she missed any texts or calls while she was away. It was likely she has missed a text or two from Lusserina. Blair hadn't asked anything of her since they last spoke, her mind was starting to wander, the mental sight of having that high elf princess's lips in between her legs made her shiver with delight.
Oh, the possibilities from within her phone.
Descent into the Abyss
Man or woman?
I am basing the world off of "The Gamer" by Sangyoung Seong. I wanted to shake it up and add more flexibility.
