Climb down and talk to the gardener

You grab the vines and swing yourself out onto the terrace to the right. Carefully, you take a step down, feeling the strength of the vine. After about three steps down, there is a snap and you lose your balance and fall back. You land into a bush, scratching your arm in the process.
