Barbara makes her move

Barbara took Riddler by the hand and allowed him to manipulate her into the wheelchair.

“Are you comfortable?” Riddler asked.

“Just fine.” Barbara nodded and made sure that she was still holding Riddler by the hand. “One last thing I want actually.”

“Oh, and what’s that?”

“It’s this!”

Employing the same trick she’d used back in the bathroom, Barbara pulled the Riddler forward. He was knocked off balance and fell forward. While he was tumbling, Barbara used her other hand to punch him in the jaw. Riddler stumbled backwards and collapsed against the bed.

Barbara still saw some movement in him so she picked up the Riddler’s cane and hit him in the head with the blunt end. She smiled to herself, satisfied that she’d taken him down. Of course Riddler was a poor fighter at the best of times so it wasn’t exactly a big feat. Not to mention she realized fighting his cohorts would be tougher.

Regardless, Barbara wheeled herself out of the bedroom and into the main living area of the hideout. Immediately, she spotted Riddler’s three goons playing a card game together at a table. She whistled to get their attention and pointed the cane at them

“Hey, big guys! Your prisoner is escaping!”

Barbara had trained herself to fight from her chair with a variety of non-lethal weapons. Including how to use a staff or cane to fight. She smirked as the thugs took notice of her, confident that she’d be able to kick their collective asses.

“Hey, what’s she doin’ out here!” One of the goons yelled as him and his friends got closer to Barbara.

“Skank got herself a shirt, but it looks like she still wants her pussy to air out. Guess it’s different when ya can’t feel anything down there.”

“Riddler truly hires only the finest of gentlemen.” Barbara rolled her eyes and let out a disgusted sigh.

The three thugs surrounded Barbara on all sides by this point. One of them spoke up. “Alright, go back to your room and we won’t beat you up.”

Barbara’s response to this was to jab the one who had spoken in the gut with Riddler’s cane. While he was dazed by that she hit him again in the crotch and a third time on the chin which made him fall over.

“Get ‘er!”

The other two thugs attacked, but thankfully for Barbara both were slow and brutish while she was fast and cunning. A few strikes to their chest and head dazed them and she finished them off by sweeping their legs over. Once all three were stunned and on the ground Barbara threw the cane to the side and wheeled herself out of the house as fast as she could.

“Thank god…” Barbara began to breathe heavily once she was outside. From the looks of things it was early the morning. She couldn’t recognize the neighborhood but focused on getting herself as far away from Riddler’s hideout as she could.

She stopped herself when she was about to ram straight into a jogger. The jogger took notice of Barbara and ceased running.

“Whoa, are you okay?” The jogger leaned down to look at Barbara. “Where… Where are your pants?”

“My name is Barbara… I just escaped from the Riddler… Please take me to the police…” Barbara sighed and smiled, grabbing on to the jogger’s arm. She was finally safe. Half naked, overwhelmed, but still safe.
