As Midnight shifts through her memories the ones that stood out the most were recent. For obvious reasons of course as they had the most clarity to them.

An thus here she is having been on the run from bounty hunters since her escape from the slavers for nearly a year. Making money by being a theif and a con artist incidentally increasing the number of people after her.
They were catching up though, infact she barely escaped just now in the alleys.

Option C: Look for a safe place to hide
