Rudy's Bar

You arrive at Rudy's Bar a bit early so you decide to order a beer whilst you wait. The place is a bit of a dive, but its where you and Mike had your first legal drink, so you both have a lot of nostalgia for the place, with its tacky Americana plastered all over. Once you're halfway through your drink, Mike shows up, wearing band merch and the cheapest pants he could find at Walmart. He had a rather athletic build in spite of his pale skin, and long flow of brown hair that often flew around when he was behind his drum kit.

"Hey man." Mike says. The two of you shake hands as he sits down.

"How's it going?"

"Good dude. How's your day been?"

"Pretty good. You?"

"Alright. Bit of a shit day at work but what can you do?"

"What happened?"

"Eh, just a few painful customers."

"Fair enough."

That's when Frank 'Burny' Hu approaches. Tonight the Asian American is wearing a turtle neck that covered the burn on his neck that had given him his nickname. Having a fascination with tinkering with just about anything, Burny had injured himself during one of his many experiments in his teenage years and to be frank, you're surprised he still has all his fingers.

With a smile, Burny says "Hey guys."

"How's it going Burny?" Mike says.

"Good. So Oscar, here you got a new girl?"

"Jealous?" You say.

"Well I haven't seen her yet so..."

You roll your eyes. "Whatever Burny."

"So how's it going?" Mike asks.

"Good so far."

"Hope she's not as much of a cunt as your ex."

"I'll drink to that." You say.

The three of you share a drink as Eddie finally arrives. He gives you an awkward glance before Mike says "Hey man."

"Sorry I'm late." Eddie replies.

"Trying to maintain Platinum in... what the fuck are you playing now?" Burny says.

"Siege and uh... yeah. Had a real tight match."

"Well seeing as your last, how about you buy the first round?" Mike says.

"Ugh... fine."

As Eddie orders the drinks, you wonder what else you'll discuss as the night goes on.
