Is that a... cow?

Bert shakes his head as he tries to take in the scene before him. I think I zoned out for a second there. That's weird, he thinks. Bert is suddenly overcome with a feeling of well being, as if all the problems of the world suddenly had solutions and he didn't have to worry about any of it.

"Whoa, is that a cow?" he says out loud as he notices the bovine body parts spread along the inner slope of the impact crater. "Poor cow."

Bert scans the scene looking for the meteoroid. Or was it meteorite? Seeing a large egg shaped object that seemed to be made from some kind of black metal with an open hatch located on its side, Bert thinks, Well... everything looks all good here. I guess I can get Annie to school now. Bert carefully makes his way back down the berm and heads for the truck.

Annie is relieved as she sees that her father is coming back to the truck.

As Daddy climbs back in the truck, Annie notices a sweet, delicious aroma drifts into the cab with him. Hmmm, she thinks. That's nice. I'm so glad he's back. My Daddy. My sweet, strong Daddy.

"Oh, Sweetie, I'm in love with you too." Bert reaches over the center console and gives Annie's beautiful thigh a fatherly stroke but then leaves his hand there, just at the hem of her skirt. He curls his fingers slightly under the hem, holding the skirt in a loose, relaxed grip.

Annie has no objection to this.
