Cuddles

Blair gently nuzzled to Nora's breast, her mind running over what happened today, but mostly about Aisha. She could feel Nora's hands slipping around her waist, even with all that had happened, she smiled, simply enjoying this moment until Nora spoke. "We should head inside, it is getting late." She sighed softly, feeling reality settle back in. Blair knew she was lucky to have such a sweet and caring girlfriend like Nora, even if she was a bit of a worrywart, she thought while looking up into Nora's eyes and said. "Right, sounds good." Nora's eyes gazed back deeply into her eyes, Nora's eyes filling with concern as she asked. "What's wrong? You aren't your usual cheery self." Blair's eyes looked down a moment then back to Nora and said. "We can talk about it after we get inside. It is a little chilly out here." Nora nodded, Blair's eyes widened with a gasp, feeling herself being lifted into Nora's arms like a princess. It took a moment before she relaxed and smiled, wrapping her arms around Nora's neck. "Mm, planning to be my knight in shining armor tonight?" Blair playfully said, feeling a bit better already. Nora kissed her forehead and whispered. "Anything to make you happy." Blair blushed deeply and laid her head upon Nora's shoulder, her eyes closing for the moment.

Blair's eyes opened after about a minute and found herself in a rather lavishly decorated room, its walls were painted a lovely baby blue, a rather large bed was against the wall to her left, covered with lavender silken sheets and curtains, a small night stand stood a inches to the right of the bed, on the other side was an antique desk its back against the wall near the balcony door, and a large mirror over a long dresser just across from the foot of the bed. She was brought over to the bed and gently lain upon it. Blair felt a few soft kisses upon her lips shortly after, each one making her smile more and more. "Mm" Her arms slowly slid down from Nora's neck and to her waist, Blair's eyes looking longingly at Nora's lips. "I must say, I am loving what you are doing, Nora." She leaned in to nip at Nora's bottom lip. "Mine." Nora hadn't a chance to reply as Blair pulled her onto the bed, she made sure she was on top before leaning down to kiss along Nora's neck, her finger tips finding Nora's and lifting those hands up above Nora's head, but before she could lock things in passion, Nora moved a hand down to stop Blair, she felt Nora's pointer finger touching her lips when Nora spoke. "I desire to know what is bothering you. After that, well, if you are up for it, then we can make love." Those words made her blush, her finger tips ran along Nora's arms. "Are you sure? It is kinda boring." Blair saw Nora smile, and felt that hand move to caress her left cheek. "Nothing coming from your pretty lips would be boring to me." Those words made Blair's heart melt as her eyes filled with tears, she turned slightly to kiss Nora's palm. "No fair." She whispered with a sniffle. "I, I was fired from work and told not to contact them again." Nora's eyes widened before saying. "Well, I do not know what happened, but you still have me. They must be blind if they could fire you. You are clearly a talented woman. It is definitely their loss." She could feel Nora's hand brushing away her tears as she spoke. "You are sweet, kind, loving, smart, cute, and sexy. Oh, and quite the fighter from what you did earlier today." She chuckled with another sniffle, saying. "That sounded so corny." She felt Nora's hand slip down to the left side of her neck. "Maybe, but it is all true. I love you, Blair." Nora whispered before kissing her forehead.

Blair felt the anxiety and anguish melting away. "Mm, I love you too, Nora. I am very lucky to have you in my life." Nora blushed deeply, pulling her into a loving embrace. "No, I am the lucky one." Blair sniffled once more before those tears finally stopped, she laid down beside her and snuggled against the crook of Nora's neck, kissing gently a couple times. "Do you mind if we just cuddle then? I am rather worn out. It has been a roller coaster of a day." Nora chuckled softly. "Of course not, rest well, my love." Blair smiled. "You too." Her eyes closed slowly and wearily soon falling asleep against Nora.
