Family Talk

Whilst you walk towards your apartment, Adela pulls out her phone and starts texting.

"You who messaging?" You ask.

"My uncle. He wants to know what I thought of the film."

"Lotsa boobs and gore 10/10."

Adela lets out a laugh. "He wants to know what I thought. Not you silly."

You shrug as Adela's fingers dance on her phone's screen. When she's done, she puts the phone in her pocket, causing you to ask "What did you send him?"

"That me and the boyfriend had a lotta fun."

"Well that's true... Say, can I ask you something?"

"Yeah?"

"What do I say you do for work? Like when we meet the parents."

"Freelance writer." Adela states with confidence.

"Huh. Didn't quite expect you to have an answer like that."

"Yeah well, I've got parents too, you know?"

"Right. Of course. Anyone else?"

"Cecilia, my big sis."

"She know?"

With a nod, Adela says. "Our little secret."

"Fair enough."

"What about you?"

"I'm an only child." You then shrug. "Unless you count Dad's business."

"Heh. So doing anything tomorrow?"

"Well with any luck I'm spending it with my beautiful girlfriend."

"You're a lucky man."

"I sure am."

You kiss Adela on the side of the forehead before continuing your journey home. Once inside, Adela sighs. "I'm pooped. Think I might just go to sleep."

"Sure you don't wanna have some fun?"

"Uh... I'd love to but I didn't bring any protection."

Whilst you would still love to have some sex, the fear of knocking up your girlfriend quickly stifles your desire. You can also tell Adela is pretty tired, and you also have work tomorrow and another late night would be a little much. After a goodnight kiss, the two of you head to bed, eager for tomorrow.
