The League of Extraordinary Dimension-travellers for the defence of Gordor

Some time ago, a dimension-traveller and villainess named Blaze was defeated by three adventurers from the fantasy-city of Gordor, adventurers who also made sure to claim ownership of the strange device that had allowed Blaze to travel to literally hundreds of different universes.

After dumping Blaze in a dimension in which the earth is a frozen, pre-historic wasteland inhabited by savage beasts, the adventurers decided to set up a league, a league which’s purpose was to ensure that no others would ever threaten Gordor in the way that Blaze had, ever again.
They set out to rapidly recruit the toughest and most heroic citizens of or visitors to Gordor, and quickly managed to recruit quite a large group.

Always a fun-loving bunch, the league-members quickly began to use the dimension-traveller-device for less serious purposes, making “field-trips” to other dimensions, or just vacationing in some particularly exciting dimension.
The members take turns in forming groups that travel the dimensions, ranging from just one or two to up to six or seven. However, large groups are usually only sent out when there’s real danger ahead, and the smaller groups are primarily for the “joyrides”.
