You don't care what your friend Kyle put inside your head, you have longed for a date with Victoria for months and now you plan on laying it all out on the line for her.
You catch Victoria waiting on her school bus, and quickly ask her what you have wanted to ask her for so long .. " Umm hey Victoria , I .. I was wondering if you would ever like to go out with me this weekend ? We could go to dinner and a movie or we could go to a park and take a nice long walk, or if none of those things sounds good, well .. then we could just do whatever you wanted to do ..."
After rattling on for so long, I already knew she would let me down with a polite excuse, so as I turned away and started to walk off ... I heard her say " That sounds great Johnny, I have noticed you before but I never thought you would ask me out ... so .. the answer is YES , I would love to go out with you this weekend, the walk through the park sounds very enjoyable, maybe we could do that ???
I turned around and practically tripped over myself saying " that sounds perfect Victoria, we could stop and get something to eat and take it with us, kind of like a picnic in the park"
I thought to myself ' you sound really nerdy John, not very smooth at all' ... and to my surprise she says " How about you pick me up at noon on Saturday and we can go out " as she hands me a piece of paper with her full name and phone number, along with her address, " I will be ready and waiting for you John" as her bus pulled up and she quickly gave me a quick peck on the cheek and blushed before disappearing on the bus ...........
I walked away feeling like the luckiest guy at school, my confidence was sky rocketing and I quickly got in my car and drove home to pick out my outfit for the next day ...
