before the dance

"Stupid Yang sending me to get her fog machine" ruby mumbled under her breath as she carried the fog machine her sister had ordered for the dance. She was apparently busy with personal stuff and had sent Ruby to get the machine. never mind the fact the thing weighed a ton and Yang was a lot stronger than her.

Ruby was so focused on not dropping the fog machine and breaking it she never noticed a hook being fired at her untill it grabbed her by the foot and pulled her into the ally she was walking by. Ruby dropped the machine quickly and tried to regain her balance while she was in the air. She followed the chain and saw that it was the attached to Roman's cane. The silver eyed girl managed to get her foot free and landed on her feet.

"Well hello red, fancy seeing you here" said Torchwick with a dark grin.

"What do you want Torchwick?" ruby asked.

"Oh nothing much just want to know how you and your friends are now and maybe some **** for destroying my new toy," Said Roman as he twirled his cane around.

"How about you just tell me everything you know and I wont hurt you too bad" said Ruby as she pulled out crescent rose out and unfolded it into scythe mode.

"Now red why would I give you the chance to do that" said roman. unseen by her he hit a button on his scroll.

"I would like to see you aahhhhhh," Ruby started to say before she felt a lagre amount of electricity shock her. What she failed to notice was that Roman had littered the alley around him with small devices filled with lighting dust that would shock anyone in the alley in front of him ****.

"Like I said red why would I even give you a chance" roman said. He picked the girl up and walked out of the alley. Of course he made sure to ditch her scroll on the way so no one could trace it.
