What will you do to Tanya?
A Plan Comes Together
You are meet up with Tanya alone, to asses the damage and make arrangements to go underground and rest and regroup. Though your options are rather limited and dangerous in Outworld, it's better to risk **** in the wilderness then at the hands of your enemies.
Of course this is the least of your concerns at the moment. As your main priority is figuring out what to do with Tanya and do it quick before she decides to turn on you. You decided the most profitable path is to break and tame her to make her subservient to you and you alone. That way her skills, reliance and her body would be yours to enjoy. Still most profitable is the most arduous path, as she is no weak-willed warrior and she has some proficiency in black magic. Not that those are the issue, its more the fact that she's too independent, to ever vow any loyalty to you outside of temporarily.
This Edenian resistance unlike the last one was more an alliance of conveyance hence why many of the Edenians were willing to fight and die at the behest of the likes of Mileena, Tanya and f. Just for the chance of separating Edenia from Outworld they were willing to Mileena reclaim the Outworld Throne. Each brought something to the table beyond thier natural gifts and skills. Mileena for her psychotic immaturity, brought manpower with the vicious Tarkatens added to their forces mostly because their late leader Baraka was loyal to her to the end and they in turn honored that loyalty. Tanya for her treacherous ways still remembered the Edenia of old or at least the romantic version and was able weave tales and dreams of a free Edenia to boost morale and keep the Edenians and Tarkatens from killing each other.
You yourself, had all the experience as both a leader under Shao Khan's forces, meager and hollow as they were compared to the late Khan's other Generals like Kotal and Reiko, and as a member of the First Edenian Resistance that emerged after Shao Khan absorbed Edenia into Outworld. Granted you betrayed that resistance to Shao Khan, however unlike Tanya who betrayed her fellow Edenians to save her own skin and gain comfortable standing, you betrayed the resistance because they betrayed you first, refusing you the son of Edenia's god to lead as was your right as son of the General who started the resistance, never mind the son of Argus. That fact wasn't revealed to you until centuries after you betrayed the resistance, by Kyren a Centuar who excelled at educating new members of Outworld in combat and customs in their new lot in the new regime. The Thunder God confirmed this during the second Mortal Kombat tournament when he came to you for help when word was reached of Kitanna's betrayal and execution, so it was your your late comrades fault then yours for not seeing that you were destined to lead and restore Edenia, and since they refused they forfeited their chance.
The point is, your the one that got them this far not that anyone would give you the satisfaction of admitting such to you. So it falls on you to save the resistance and bring it back to glory and take your rightful place. Not an easy feat, especially now that Mileena is dead and the losses of both Tarkaten and Edenian troops, not to mention no further assistance from the Red Dragons and Shokan, there's not much you can do for future operations that the forces you have can do more then annoy Kotal and his regime, and that's ignoring the low morale the Edenians have and without Mileena the Tarkartens will be even more difficult to reign in with just Tanya's promises of **** and your wrath.
Loathe as you are to admit it, you need to seek help to bolster your diminished forces to do more then guerrilla warfare to make a difference. Not to mention coming up with a plan of action to present to Tanya might just catch her off guard and make her realize your worth not betraying just yet, which should grant you the time to impress her enough she realizes your greatness or an opportunity where her guard is down and you take her and **** the realization, whichever comes first.
Even still, his choices of prospective allies are just as short and perilous, if not more so. The Red Dragons cut ties with you after the Blood Code fiasco, and the Shokan under the command of Sheeva has remained neutral and still recovering from that same incident. The Black Dragon are out of the question, mercenary duplicity aside they still owe one dead Khan which Kano has yet to deliver and may never will despite having already paid him. The old Lin Kuei had promise if only just as much liability to trust and they have been bested by Sub-Zero the current Grandmaster and his aims seem only limited to protecting Earthrealm, though there is rumor of a student of his that is at odds with him. Maybe you can appeal to her for help, help her overthrow Sub-Zero to place her to take command of the Lin Kuei in exchange for her and the clans services. There's also the Kollector, and by extent in his people the Naknada, so far he's been content bankrolling the resistance out of loyalty to Shao Khan and by extension Mileena, though with her dead you may have to renegotiate and try to convince him to to take a more active role in the resistance, the idea itself is difficult to sell to the former tax collector and his price would surly be severe you just might be willing to pay it, not to mention Kotal would want nothing to do with him so like it or not you are his best bet. Then their are the Centaurians, they have been rather inactive for some time, ever since the **** of Motaro during the first Invasion into Earthrealm. Rumor has it that they had their own private war over who would lead the tribe, supposedly it got so bad they refused to fight on Kotal's behalf even against their sworn enemies the Shokan. While a risky bet to approach them with so little to go on, especially with the fact that Shokan fought on their side first, but **** times come for **** measures, the fact that they haven't sworn in to either side still makes them viable and capable allies so it's worth a try to approach them with an offer. Then the last ditch effort you could think was asking for help from Lui Kang and Kitanna the new rulers of the Netherealm. As much as you would like to appeal to Kitanna herself, she hasn't exactly been herself for decades and the fact she has Liu Kang as her king in that hellish realm doesn't make it any easier, it didn't help Mileena took sadistic pleasure tormenting you and your fellow Edenians over the fact. In fact your sure you would have to give Tanya to them as a gift to even talk to them without attacking you. Your not that ****, yet, still best to keep one ace in the whole, as the Earthrealm saying goes.
Feeling a bit more confident in yourself having now considered your options, now you just need to confide with Tanya and hope she has some insight to share and/or see the value of staying on your side. Now we see where to go from here as she enters your sight.
How does the meeting go?
