Calumba & Onaona (Past)

In 760 C.E. on a small volcanic island known as Maui a small group of nomads arrived in the island via by their flat, wooden ships built by hand. It wasn’t long that they started to build a decent village within the shore, and thanked the five goddesses for their safe passage throughout the sea by offering a virgin wearing nothing but a skirt made up of flower petals, which did nothing to hide her privates, to perform a ritualistic dance for the group of deities. But with the flower skirt being prone to being blown away from winds, or falling off due to the fragile strings being used to tie around the woman’s waist. This often than not caused the virgins nakedness to be revealed towards the eyes of the five goddesses. The virgin would be embarrassed of her state of undress and quickly pick up the flower skirt but is immediately **** back into doing the dance as it’s a sign of disrespect for the goddesses. Now not only are the gaze of the five goddesses watching the virgins naked dance but the rest of the tribes members also watch the ritual all the while the naked girl has a tomato colored face. In return the five goddesses provides them with riches in repayment for their eternal loyalty. As the village grew from a small community it eventually evolved to a large town called Hoallu, where it has become the most influential within Maui. Impressed with the chief of Hoallu great devotion to the five goddesses, Ti'ma the goddess of nature fell in love with him. As a result, Calumba and Onaona were born from the relationship between the tribes chief and Ti'ma. One day the goddesses decided to whisk the tribe away to the land of the gods as a reward for the intense devotion. Calumba & Onaona offered to stay behind and "guard" the riches the tribe had amassed. It was decided that whom ever could make it through the temple that held the treasure would be allowed to keep it for themselves, in addition, said person would also be allowed to take Calumba and Onaona as their wives.
