Chapter 2 by Ragnockae136 Ragnockae136

Where next?

The Three Broomsticks, In Hogsmede (Fair Warning This Chapter Is Set From A Teacher's Stand Point With Potter and Gaunt)

Walking Into The Three Broomsticks, John Was Greeted By Madam Rosmerta, Who Was Quite Happy To See Her Old Friend and Assistant. She Pointed Him To The Table Where Headmaster Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall Were Seated. "Professor Dumbledore, and Professor McGonagall. It Is So Great To See You Both Again." Says John As He Embraces Both Professors. "Likewise John, How's Penny, Tulip, Skye, and Merula?" Asks Dumbledore. "Penny Is Quite Happy Running O'Harris & Haywood Herbs and Potions, Tulip More Than Happy With O'Harris & Karasu Jokes and Pranks, Merula Less So With Either, As For Skye, She's Happily Playing As A Substitute For England." Says John as He Remembers His Four Wives Fondly. "I Want To Thank You For Coming On As A Guest Teacher." Says Dumbledore. "Ah, No Trouble Professor, B'Sides, Mostly I'm Just Here To See Hagrid and Fang." Says John As He and Dumbledore Share A Laugh.

"I'm Sure Hagrid and Fang Will Appreciate That." McGonagall Muses. "Indeed, But Enough, I Ought To Visit Snape, I Have Something For Him He'll Appreciate." Says John. "Gift From Miss Haywood?" Asks McGonagall. "Perhaps." John Teases His Old Head Of House. Leaving The Three Broomsticks, John Calls His Broomstick To Him, and Flies To Hogwarts Castle.

John Enters The Potions Class Room To Find Snape Silently Cleaning Up A Horribly Failed Boil Cure Potion. "Fate Has A Way Of Repeating Things Eh Professor Snape?" Asks John. Snape Whirls Around and Is Clearly Surprised To Find His Former Pupil Standing There. "O'Harris? What Are You Doing Here?" Asks Snape. "Same Thing As You, Teaching At Hogwarts. But Primarily, Because My Wife Asked Me To Give This Gift." Says John. "Which Wife Was That? The Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw Or Slytherin?" Asks Snape. "Out Of The Four Who Is More Likely To Give You A Gift and Your Liable To Actually Appreciate It?" Says John. "Fair Point." Snape Grudgingly Admits.

"Anyway, Penny Wanted Me To Give You Our Latest Big Seller In Potions Department. We Call It The Potioneer's Remnant Library. That Glove Will Cast A Magical Imprint On The Palm of The Hand Of The User, Listing The Best Way To Acquire or Use Potions Ingredients and Use Them In A Way That Produces The Perfect Effect. It's Useful Because It Can Act As A Miniature Fount Of Memories, Allowing You To Recall Information On A Specific Ingredient Or Potion Your Not Absolutely Certain Of. Figured You Didn't Need The Assistance, But I Wasn't About To Argue With My Wife." Says John.

"Wise Man, You've Grown Up." Says Snape. "I Don't Know About Wise Or Grown Up, But I Consider Myself Practical if Anything. Learned A Lot From You, Took Me A Couple Years To Make It Something Useful and Meaningful." Says John Frankly. "I Appreciate The Craftsmanship More Than Anything O'Harris." Says Snape As He Admires The Device. "Originally It Was Rather Bulky, But I Received Some Help From Retired Professor Slughorn, He Got Me In Touch With A Suitable Smith Who Could Helpt Forge The Necessary Alloys at The Right Weight and Strength. Thus Allowing Us To Downsize The Device, But Not Sacrifice It's Effectiveness." Says John. "Give My Regards To Mrs Snyde, and Convey My Thanks To Mrs Haywood." Says Snape. "I'll Do That, But I Have Something For You Myself, Found This Manuscript In A Cave On The Coast Of South America. The Language Is Quite Old, and I Can't Figure It Out, At Least Beyond The Title, and I Figured You'd Have More Luck." Says John As He Hands Snape Said Manuscript.

John Left Snape, For The Great Hall Where He'd Be Announced By Dumbledore As A Guest Teacher........................

Great Hall???
