Urban exploration

Zoe's phone buzzed. She had a text from Ben, her best friend. "Hey Z, your parents away yet"? the text read. "Yeah" Zoe replied. "Sweet, me and the guys have found a really cool place for urbexing, it's supposed to be haunted, you in"? Zoe perked up in interest from the proposed adventure. "Hell yeah" She replied, which was met by an "awesome" from Ben.

Zoe loved urban exploration. She watched loads of videos on youtube of people exploring old, long abandoned buildings that were slowly being reclaimed by nature. It was like something out of a zombie apocalypse movie. Although the process was quite beautiful in a way. The excitement of adventure, possible danger, and exploring the unknown was thrilling to the young girl. It also didn't hurt that Ben would be going. They had known each other since they were little and having grown up as neighbours, they did everything together: playing, sharing secrets, their first kiss, even their night of passion on prom night. The two were inseparable.
