That's new

Sarah went over to the mirror to look at her bruises on her legs and back. After giving it the once over she noticed that her bruises had all but vanished. Strange, since she fell twenty feet one would think that they would be suffering from a much longer state of injury. But all indications of bruising are gone. Wait except one dark black spot at the center of her back. Which is odd because it didn't fade into normal skin tones on the end like her other bruises. it was her skin to the darkness. Similar to the darkness that was in her tattoos. She assumed it was probably the spot she fully landed on. She went back over to her desk and started back at the runes. About an hour later she found something similar to a few of the runes. Quickly she did a side by side comparison of what the image she found and the runes were. Getting close to the idol and holding it with both hands to get the best angle on it she could.

"What's this? Who are you I wonder? You are the one who found this if I had to guess. Interesting. I'll have to use you to regrow my strength."

So wrapped up in the runes she failed to notice the pink glow emerging from the eye of the statue. She was so focused on the arm runes she missed it.
