A proposition

The Prime Minister was a man in his early 50’s. He had fair skin, short black hair, and a respectably fit figure. It did wonders for your planet’s morale when they see their representative as something other than a fat, lazy career politician as most other human planets had. He entered the room and had them sit down before continuing.

“Putting you both in the same room was intentional, I assure you. You were both selected for two reasons: the first being that you are the two brightest young minds of your generation when it comes to politics. You inspire others with your words and know how to fix problems to everyone’s advantage. The other reason is more... complicated.” The Prime Minister shuffled his feet where he stood, as if he was uncomfortable with what he was about to say.

“I’m sure you’ve heard stories about Erogena. The Queen especially. Suffice to say they do have a bit of truth to them.”

Rosa knew what he was talking about. Rumor had it that Erogena was a very... “liberated” planet, and that it’s citizens chose to go nude in public often, and had sex in public regularly. This didn’t really surprise her, as the planet’s warm climate, fertile and abundant farmland, and the fact that it was on a popular trade route through this arm of the galaxy meant a constant supply of wealth and time to spend on more enjoyable activities than the ones other planets had come up with. There was even a rumor that the Queen had a harem of servants whose only job it was to “please” her and her guests. The Prime Minister continued.

“Erogena does have a very outgoing society, and their queen does indeed have a harem, but it isn’t entirely what you think. Our planet has been blessed with the opportunity to open an embassy on Erogena to help increase trade to our home, but a stipulation of this agreement was that we provide two young individuals to join Her Majesty’s harem as concubines. I did not lie to you though. As concubines in the harem you will be close to both our embassy and to the Queen, and will still act as ambassadors of our planet. You will even be paid a handsome amount. Enough to make me jealous even. I’m telling you this now so it’s not a surprise, and so if you wish you still have a chance to back out. If you do you will not be judged, and I’m sure you will find a very successful career staying here at home. What do you say?”
