A student interrupts

"Miss?" A voice called out. "Yes, Daisy?" Autumn turned to the girl who spoke. Daisy was a brilliant student when she applied herself, which unfortunately she did not do very much, unless one counts applying herself to creating mischief.

"You told me I must remind you that I forgot to hand my homework in on Friday, since the new disciplinary policy is starting today." Daisy said with an expression that seemed to be one of genuine regret to Autumn.

Autumn hesitated for a moment, trying to recall the policy and feeling embarrassed it did not come to her immediately, but Daisy went on to save her blushes: "The school is to re-introduce corporal punishment to be administered to teachers whose students failed academically by the students in question."

"Oh, of course" Autumn replied, feeling a wave of shame washing over her. She obviously failed to support Daisy properly and the poor girl did not manage to get her work done. And she had to be the one reminding her teacher about it!! No matter how uncomfortable this will be, it's no wonder the school feels corporal punishment is needed for teachers.

Meanwhile Daisy was already making her way to the front of the classroom. "Bend over your desk with your buttocks facing the class, Ms Bethany." She said with newly found authority in her voice. The embarrassed teacher did as bid, her cheeks visibly flushed, instinctively grabbing the opposite edge of the desk and Daisy triumphantly yanked the edge of her skirt up. The grinning student then picked up a ruler from the desk and stepped back and to the side to the sound of the delighted gasps of the class.
