A night at the womens' complex

The sun was setting over the horizon in Smashville. After a few hours of intense combat, all the smash fighters were ready to retire for the evening. Even the sleepless Ridley looked worn down after a fierce brawl with Pikachu. One rule kept in place at the area where fighters took residence, was division by gender, where applicable. Men kept to one side, and women to the other. Failure to comply with this simple rule meant lock-down in a dull, bleak house during recreational periods for a week.

Our story begins at nightfall, shortly before curfew requiring the return of all fighters to their respective living areas. In the womens' complex, some fighters were playing card games, others watching the TV downstairs, and some had already returned to their rooms for the night.
