He gives Luke to Leia

On board the Millenium Falcon and finally safe from the clutches of Lord Vader, this mysterious man has covered Luke with a brown blanket to further protect his modesty. He was in such a delirious state, he couldn’t be sure, but he thought he recalled the man saying his name was Lando. There was still so much pain coming from the stump of his right arm but young Luke was just happy to be alive. “I’ll take you to Leia,” Lando said, fastening the blanket around Luke’s waist as he helped him walk to the cockpit. “She’ll know what to do with you.”

The door opened and they made their way.

Luke could see the beautiful face of Princess Leia stare at him as he entered the room, her face stained with worry and pain. She sprang from her seat and rushed on over to him, wrapping her arms tightly around his neck, gently sobbing into his jacket. The youth sobbed as well, only managing to **** out a pathetic “Leia,” as they embraced one another. How comforting was her embrace - it was like everything was back the way it was supposed to be, how it had been just a few months earlier. The Princess looked to Lando and Chewie and nodded, turning to Luke and carefully began supporting him as they began their short walk to the medical wing.

“It was Vader,” Luke croaked out once they finally made it to the haven. Leia was quick to shut the door as she attempted to listen to her friend as well as care for his wounds. From above the bulkhead, she reached for a standard auto-tourniquet in the emergency section. Leia grabbed his right arm and pulled back the sleeve - kriff, she nearly vomited at the sight of his exposed flesh and bone. Skywalker groaned as she fitted the tourniquet to his stump and injected a steady drip of bacta into the small tube.

“Save your strength,” Leia begged. With a quick tug on the blanket, she pulled the entire fabric down and exposed Luke as she examined his lower region. His thighs were bruised, his testicles swollen and purple. The Princess helped pull her friend down onto the medical bed and draped the blanket over him once more, now that she had a good look at his injuries and knew where to go from here.

“I’ll be back,” she said, giving him a light peck on the lips.

“Wait,” Luke weakly moaned. “Leia.”
