You add a little “Just kidding.” to the end of that sentence. It probably saved you a well-deserved slap on the face. Michelle kind of ignores your remark, which kind of sucks. Great comedy sometimes goes unappreciated, but maybe it’s time to slow down the punchlines.

“So do you think Buckett is gonna pick us up soon?”

Buckett is a local teenager and a near drop out. Additionally, he’s one of the only kids in school who managed to get a driver’s license. He also just happens to be your best friend.

“Honestly he probably forgot we even exist.”

“How long’s the drive to Lil’ Heaven?”

“Like six hours I think?”

Lil’ Heaven is not an up-and-coming trashy SoundCloud rapper, but the name of a cabin Buckett’s parents have owned since pretty much forever. It’s hidden deep in the heartlands of Oregon, and has a beautiful lake right on its backyard. It’s plenty to keep its visitors satisfied, content and relaxed as hell. And that’s not just because Buckett happens to have some of his best weed stacked there.

Every year, you and your friends have a tradition of going there during the winter holidays. When you were kids, Buckett’s parents used to take you there. However, when he got his license, they simply gave him the cabin keys and told him not to break anything.

Yeah, Buckett’s parents are quite wealthy, if you haven’t noticed.
