The Enemy shoots back

The bots finally got into range. Amelia's squad immediately came under fire as the machines deemed it the greatest threat. They were **** to hunker down and you could see a few of them take hits. This gave Sierra's squad a chance to finally get in the fight, unleashing rounds into the drones above. One of them nose-dived out of the air and crashed into a Revolution, destroying both and starting a minor chain reaction that destroyed 3 more.

They paid for that. The machines returned fire and managed to completely knock off the armor of one of Sierra's soldiers. The next shot slammed into her chest and sent her sprawling, utterly ****.

Third squad was having a few issues of their own but they still kept up the fire. Hitting a drone though not knocking it out.

The situation was becoming ****, you saw a member of first squad go down. From out of nowhere one of the Viva drone's dive bombed your line and swept up the downed member of second squad. It immediately turned around before your troops could even think to target it. Swiftly raising past the altitude where you could safely shoot it down. It still had one more step before her capture was official but you couldn't figure out a way that you'd be able to get her down in time to save her. You were **** to put her out of your mind as third squad kept up their fire, killing three more drones.

The Revolutions seemed to be having some kind of technical glitch. All of their shots going wide, missing your line completely.
