Her punishment is announced

The next day, she woke up, and put on her jean shorts and a white top and went to the front desk at 9am. The warden and Sandy were waiting for her and the motioned her to the back room. A chill ran up her spine as she had been to that room twice and was **** both times. As she stood in front of the warden's desk, Sandy stood beside her and stroked her golden brown hair.

The warden spoke to her and said that she would spend the day in the women's wing of the county jail. She would be returned to work release that night. This was a break, he explained, as she could have been remanded to county jail for the rest of her sentence. She nodded and thanked him for giving her a break. Melissa was told to go back to detention until they called for her to be transported to county jail.

As she walked out of the room, she felt as if she heard snickering behind her. The brown haired inmate went to her pod and started reading a book. It wasn't long before a guard appeared in the doorway and called her name.

She rose from her bed and went with the guard to head to jail. Stopping by the desk, Sandy went over the rules again.

"You will be taken into custody at the county jail, they will take you to the women's wing. You will remain there until 7pm when a guard will escort you out and you will return to this facility. This is a big break, and there will not be any more, do you understand?"

Melissa nodded as she left with the guard and got into the transport van.
