Marine ships ahead

As Shindou sighed harshly, the Marine ships kept approaching. On of the Marine soldiers asked the captain of the ship.

"Sir, as you said, we will fire launch all the cannon balls!"

Dozens of cannon balls launched through in mid air as the captain nodded. When the canon balls approached the pirate ship, Shindou went in front of them murmuring a word.

'SETCH'

All of a sudden his body was coated with some kind of spirit. The color of the spirit was brown. He jumped up and kicked some of the cannon balls causing explode in right in front of him. However, some he could not hit because they were out of his reach.

'SETCH' is one of the techniques only elementalists could use. One borrows the spirit and will of the ground binding with the human body making their body sturdier than normal human.

Thankfully, the other cannon balls fell into the ground. It still wasn't a good sign because the explosion in the sea made the ship tremble.

"Ahhh! Ah!!"

Three pirates screamed like a coward. After they realized that they were safe, they stood up clapping to what Shindou did. Pinku went up to him out of the sudden. She then held his hand and stated.

"Yes, you can join our crew."

Shindou was so confused to what he was hearing. Looking at Pinku's sparkling yellow eyes that said 'please, join my crew,' he really was did not what to say. After a few seconds of silent and dilemma, he replied.

"No thanks, I want to be safe and out of the bounty areas."

"C'mon, you are so talented. you are our only hope."

Pinku sighed pushing back Shindou aside . When the cannon balls were launched again, This time, she wasn't that afraid. As the cannon balls about to land a strike, she raised her first three finger up.

FALL OF CHERRY BLOSSOM!

Out of thin air, hundreds of cherry blossom's petal appeared. The petals formed a shape of square blocking the cannon balls. As for all the remaining, they too were blocked by the petals. The Gatherings of all the petals expanded huge enough to hide the ship away from the Marines.
