The party gathers

Pulling up to the house, parking on the side of the road with the sounds of tires on asphalt and squeaking brakes, Audrey looks over to Chloe who has a painted on black reindeer nose and little antlers, she smiles.

"Ready to go?" Audrey asks, excited for the party, she looks around and picks up her small leather brown purse by its thin strap.

"Yep, by the way im not drinking tonight much, i still have the drive the car home." Chloe says nervously, trying to avoid drinking at all since thats not her thing. She sits there blushing slightly, rosey cheeks from the cold weather in tight jeans and a fairly form fitting sweatshirt.

"Dont worry about it, still just have fun though, if any guys give you trouble just call me over, ill take care of them for ya." Audrey jokingly laughs, elbowing Chloe over the arm rests, and hops out of the car.

"Hey! The gangs all here!" Nathan says from the porch holding a red cup.

"Drinking already?" Audrey laughs walking over as Chloe locks up her car, poking fun at the fact that he doesnt actually partake in that stuff.

"Oh sure, ha ha. Just get inside, its chilly out." Nathan says opening the front door, waiting for the girls. Audrey skipping through the doorway, Chloe quickly following. Leaving little footprints in the snow behind.

"Hey!" Nick and Jessica say in unison, raising the hands in the air, walking over towards Audrey and Chloe in the lobby.

After exchanging a few hugs and greetings, they settle in the kitchen, all leaning or sitting on/against the counters with their drinks.

"So how many people are supposed to be here tonight?" Chloes says, holding her cup of orange soda with both hands, close to her body.

"Well the whole grade is invited plus some others so who know, we are guessing around 70 at least." Jessica says, sitting on the counter next to her boyfriend Nick.

"God damn." Nathan says, looking outside through a window, "where will they all park?"

"Not my problem." Nick laughs, one hand with a cup and the other around the waist of Jessica.

"Well isnt this a costume party too?" Audrey says sitting on the counter in between Jessica and Chloe.

"Yeah, we have two very lovely Mrs. Clauses, or Santas or whatever." Nick says, pointing at Jessica and Audrey with his hand holding his cup. Both unintentionally dressed with the universal white and red outfit, Jessica's also being a dress, although instead of socks she had stockings and her hair was let down loosely.

"We also have a cute reindeer." Nathan says motioning towards Chloe, which receives a blush.

"And wait what are you supposed to be Nathan?" Jessica asks.

"Im the high schooler that just wants to party." He laughs. He is sporting just some Wrangler jeans and a button down flannel.

"Whats he?" Nathan asks pointing his cup towards Nick, who is just in jeans and a white t shirt.

"Same as you brother." Nick casually says, sipping at his drink.
