There is only one place to go.

You stumble along the dirt path which leads to your home, not far from the secluded offices. The lights of the distant city glow in the distance, but you are too distracted to admire their beauty. You arrive at the door to the small one bedroom bungalow, taking a moment to catch your breath. Then, with a heavy inhalation and a final sob you step inside. The house is pitch black and it takes you a moment to fumble for the light switch, familiar though it may be. The light clicks on, its harsh rays illuminating the tastefully furnished living room lounge area. You step forward, quickly hurrying to the phone which you desperately hope is still working. You pick it up and slam in the emergency number and hold it to your ear. You are met with silence. You let your arms flop to your side as the tears roll down your cheeks and the phone tumbles to the floor. You feel a hand slip over your shoulder, gripping you in an almost comforting way. You have no doubt as to who it is.
"Oh Sarah." You hear Linus say. "Why would you run from me?"
