Head There Directly

It was just half past noon when Aaron buzzed the intercom and took the elevator up to Sasha's apartment. The door was unlocked, so he let himself in to find his not-so-girlfriend playing with her phone on the couch.

"Hey, babe," he said, doing his best to mimic Natalie's almost disinterested drawl. He put the travel case to one side, but brought the handbag with him to where Sasha was sitting. "The dork still texting you?"

"Didn't reply to him," Sasha said, but held up her phone. "What do you think of this one?"

Aaron didn't have to fake a grimace. Sasha was browsing a dating app, and her notifications showed over 20 waiting messages. The guy in question wasn't especially hot, but he could clearly afford to pretend to be.

"Two stars. Don't even put out - just bleed him and leave him."

"Lol," chuckled Sasha, swiping right. "So what's this thing you've got to show me?"

"Oh, it's the coolest fucking shit," Aaron said, remembering why he was there. "Check. This. Out."
