"Hahahahaha... You should have seen your face when I was talking about sex with the queen; you had the eyes of an assassin if I'd ever seen one."

Eli blushed to Retimir's words while shaking with the inability to punch Retimir.

"Alright, come here." Opening his arms, Retimir invites Eli in for a hug. With a light grunt, Eli shuffled towards him and fell into his embrace.

Retimir shifted his left hand onto Eli's head and lightly brushed her hair.

"One day..." With another stroke onto Eli's head, Retimir said with a slight shaking in his voice, "One day I'll be able to take ****, but not yet, it's too early."

Eli's hug grew tighter, with her head sinking even deeper into his chest.

"Is everything ok?" Retimir lowered his eyes to the top of Eli's head

"I missed you so much, your smell is always so soothing to me..." Eli waited for a while before talking with her face still buried in Retimir's chest.

"I missed you too, but we better not waste any more time before tomorrow's 'execution,' we have a lot to pack up."

"Yes, Retimir, but before that..." Eli raised her head and kissed Retimir's middle-aged lips, then proceeded to walk back to the pile of chemicals and journals to continue what she was previously working on.

Retimir walked towards the window and looked into the sky, "Our journey has yet to begin, but I already know that great things await us."
