She's Doing Something To Your Brain

"Listen to me." She says again. The tingle comes back. "Let's talk about this situation. We shouldn't end the fight just yet."

Your foot lifts off her body, and drops limply to the ground. The announcer slaves raises an eyebrow and stops counting. White Light is no longer down for the count.

The formerly subdued fighter groaned and rolled on to her side. You stand aside, waiting, as she collects herself and gets back to her feet. It's strange. You don't know why you're letting her do this. You suppose that whatever she has to say is worth letting her get back up. It's not like you'd have much trouble putting her back down. She even takes a second to brush the dust off her cutesy nightie before speaking again in that sing song voice of hers.

"Don't you think it's important that we give the crowd more of a show then that? After all, these good people came a long way just to watch us."

You scrunch your eye. It was like listening to static. When she finishes, you hear something around you. Like you hadn't really noticed it before. There really was so many people watching you. There must have been 100 people in the stands cheering. To them, this was the most exciting moment of their day. Your eyes scan the crowd.

"Well, I wouldn't want to be boring." You laugh.

"Then don't you think that we should make this more interesting?" She smirks. "Give them a real good time?"

"What do you mean by that?" You ask. You're dying to know what she means by it. It must really be something that would put on a show for them.
