Doctor Rie Kim sighed in both annoyance and tiredness. The antics caused by some of their products were getting out of hand. Salma Hayek has gone from offering private interviews to openingly fucking. Several had fled to Japan to produce porn. Which was fine, but unexpected. There were other complications as well. Now the doctor had to answer to the board or more specifically the CEO.
“Did you take a pill?”
“Yes.” Doctor Bradley replied.
“Take another.” Rie commanded. “I will not have you losing control today.”
The blonde doctor complied, removing a pill bottle and extracting a white tablet. Their colleague had developed a suppression pill that inhibited the ‘enlightened’ genomes from taking hold. It was used to prevent a loss of control exhibited by some less refined gifted. Already the product showed success with Dr. Bradley and Angelina Jolie. The latter had become a somewhat functional individual again.
Dr Kim watched her swallow. “Good. Let’s go.”

“You're progress is good and your work has paid off handsomely for this company but it is the decision of this board to halt all further research.”
“Is there an explanation for that?” Dr. Kim tried to restrain herself, but already she felt her anger bubbling to the surface. Hopefully her lab coat would disguise how her anger was showing.
“Quite simply, Doctor, you’re pushing to far. Your team already tainted one subject and the PR would have been a disaster if it got out. Your research is ending now. All current products will be sufficient. You will be kept on retainer of course, but you will be doing nothing until the current designs are deemed obsolete.”
Rie’s rage boiled over for a brief second before a calm washed over her. “Is that final?”
“It is.”
“Pill.” She turned to Dr. Bradley and stuck out her hand. With some hesitation the blonde doctor reached into her pocket and fished out a white pill. She watched silently as Dr. Kim swallowed it. “It’s a shame you’ve decided that. Really.”
“I can understand you’re upset.”
“I’m fine.” Dr. Kim straightened out her glasses before she reached into her own pocket. “You see, we’ve made a breakthrough recently regarding certain aspects of our designs.”
A glass orb came into her hand, inside a blue chemical was constantly swirling around. “For your enjoyment, I’d like you to experience it.”
Before anyone could react Rie tossed the orb into the air. It shattered across the table releasing the blue gas. The two doctors watched silently as the mist hit the board of directors. As they inhaled the gas clothing quickly hit the floor as men and women descended into orgy. When Angelina was affected by the chemical she reverted to her enlightened form. However, none of these pencil pushers indulged in the advancements Dr. Kim and her colleagues had produced. The good doctor walked up to the desk to where the CEO, a battered woman whom she never saw eye to eye with was banging the head of IT. She easily pushed them aside; still in her ‘unenlightened’ form. Dr. Bradley came up behind her.
“You planned this?” Her tone was curious, not upset. The two pills she took and the one Dr. Kim ingested protected them against the effects. Something Rie had postulated would happened.
“I surmised that was going to be the case.” Rie assumed the position next to the CEOs seat. “I took steps to guard against it.”
“Why aren’t you taking the head seat?”
“Simply put, we haven’t found her yet.”
“Her?”
“Please, you’ve seen the results. You know there’s a true alpha out there.” Dr. Kim cleaned her glasses once again. “She is worthy to lead us onward into the future. None of these sluts.”
